William Delay is an Antwerp based solo artist who tricked a couple of very talented musicians into his imaginary band. He seduced each of them for collab with some of his demos and songs, so no blackmailing was involved. No rehearsals were held, all collaborations were recorded in different studios and the contributors never knew what the hell they were supposed to do, nor what the result would be. To get the ‘bandish’ sound, creative ways of mixing and producing were key. The first result of this ‘community-from-a-distance-approach' is Guano .

William Delay is influenced by a bunch of Norwegian jazz and progrock cannibals, Sub Saharan guitarisms and experimental electronic stuff.
